<p>Instadapp was founded in 2018, with its mainnet launching in December of that year. It operates as a DeFi protocol that aims to enable users and developers to make the most of the growing decentralized economy.&nbsp;</p><p>In particular, it hopes to be able to simplify the asset management process by allowing users to view and access many protocols from one account. In order to deliver on its goal, Instadapp uses its protocol, DSL, to aggregate a range of other DeFi protocols into one smart contract layer that is easily accessible and user-friendly.</p><p>The platform’s native cryptocurrency is INST. It was launched in 2021 and functions as a governance token. Governance helps to decide platform development, and upgrades to the protocol, as well as has control over the underlying contracts.</p><h3>What are Instadapp’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>As mentioned, the DSL protocol combines other protocols into one platform. It facilitates account extensions and allows easy upgrades, this is all managed via the INST governance process. The account extensions feature functions as an operability layer. This means that users can leverage the platform’s ability to connect protocols and access new functionality directly from their DSL account.&nbsp;</p><p>Users can create their DeFi Smart Account via the platform and gain access to the DeFi protocols integrated with Instadapp. The platform has a useful dashboard for users to easily view, manage, and handle their assets, DeFi positions, Vaults, and more.</p><p>A popular feature of the Instadapp protocol is its ability to migrate debts between specific protocols via its Bridge. This includes Maker Vaults, Compound finance, and AAVE.
