SUN runs on TRON’s TRC-20 standard.</p><h3>What are Sun’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>SUN.io’s flagship product is SunSwap. SunSwap functions as an exchange protocol for tokens of the TRC20 standard. SunSwap operates with an AMM (Automated Market Maker) model. This differs from more traditional financial exchanges which tend to operate with an order book. With an AMM model, a constant-product mathematical formula is used to determine asset prices, in this manner, transactions are done automatically and trading pair liquidity can be maintained.</p><p>The price of tokens is determined by the total number of tokens in each pool.The smart contract maintains a constant function with the formula: x*y=k, where x = token1, y = token2, and k = a constant number.&nbsp; A swap is done when replacing some of the tokens with a certain number of the other token in a given pool. As k remains unchanged, balances of the tokens will be updated accordingly, which leads to changes in prices. All trading fees gathered go towards liquidity providers of the protocol</p><p>Any user can create their own trading pair pool, one of the tokens being TRX. Users are rewarded for interacting with the protocol via staking and providing liquidity. SUN holders are also entitled to take part in the platform’s governance.
