What is Payy?

Payy Network is an EVM-compatible blockchain designed as a layer-2 rollup focused on stablecoin payments with built-in privacy. It integrates zero-knowledge proofs at every layer to make transactions private by default, including all ERC-20 transfers, without requiring changes to smart contracts or wallets.

It uses native ZK precompiles for privacy, operates primarily with stablecoins like USDC (and its own PUSD), and includes features like fiat on-ramps in select regions.

The project enables users—consumers, businesses, developers, and wallet providers—to perform private, seamless stablecoin transfers and payments. It powers related products such as the non-custodial Payy Wallet (offering a banking-like experience) and the Payy Card (a Visa card for spending stablecoins privately in real-world settings). The core mechanics rely on a UTXO-based model for privacy, aggregated proofs posted to the base layer (currently Polygon, with Ethereum planned), and cross-chain bridges for deposits/withdrawals.
