What is Polaris?

Polaris (also known as Polaris Protocol) is a decentralized finance platform and immutable CDP-based stablecoin protocol native to Ethereum. Conceptualized and founded by prominent DeFi researcher TokenBrice and developer 0xLuude (both formerly of the DeFi Collective), the protocol is designed as an architectural evolution of Liquity's ethos, delivering a counterparty-free monetary system with zero reliance on real-world assets (RWAs), centralized banking rails, or administrative keys.

The economic engine of Polaris is driven by three interconnected primitives: a bonding curve that converts deposited ETH into pETH while capturing volatility as yield, a collateralized debt position (CDP) framework allowing users to mint the yield-bearing pUSD stablecoin, and a stewardship mechanism powered by the POLAR token. Protocol revenue generated from borrowing rates, swaps, and liquidations is distributed directly to Stability Pool participants, ensuring that yield generation scales autonomously with adoption.
