IntentX is an OTC derivatives exchange offering perpetual futures trading.

At the heart of IntentX is a combination of technological innovations that usher in the next generation of on-chain finance. The platform leverages several cutting-edge technologies, cross-chain communication, account abstraction, and SYMMIO, a zero-to-one breakthrough settlement layer that addresses critical challenges in delivering on-chain derivatives.

Combined, these technologies allow IntentX to offer omnichain deployment, lower fees, greater liquidity, enhanced capital efficiency, and improved scalability versus current solutions.

IntentX is launched its open-beta trading platform on November 15th, 2023 with now over 250 tradable pairs at launch, each with deep liquidity.

Trade on IntentX is facilitated peer-to-peer by Solvers (market makers) who first stream quotations to traders, and then enter into bilateral trade agreements to facilitate and settle trades directly on-chain.

The trade begins with continuously streamed quotations by the solver to the IntentX terminal to inform users of the current available open interest, prices, and other trade conditions.

Once the user has input their trade details and is satisfied with the quotation, they send a “request for trade” on-chain to the solver with their collateral. The solver can fill the order with an equivalent collateral if matching their parameters.

The trader and solver now enter into a bilateral trade agreement for the perpetual futures contract, with rules based solvency, liquidation, closing, and settlement.
