What is Hotstuff (Prev. Syndr Protocol)?

Hotstuff is a Layer 1 blockchain network focused on decentralized financial operations. The network includes a built-in on-chain order book and supports trading of spot and derivative instruments directly on the blockchain. It is based on a custom consensus mechanism called DracoBFT, which handles transaction processing and order execution. The network architecture allows multiple digital assets to be used as collateral and supports interaction with external financial systems through validators that can act as gateways to payment and fiat infrastructure. The project provides open documentation and a public testnet for technical interaction.
