COTI is a layer-2 blockchain focused on enabling confidential computation and private decentralized applications on top of Ethereum by using advanced cryptographic techniques like garbled circuits, which allow data and logic to be processed without exposing them publicly onchain.

Initially launched as a payments-oriented network with a DAG-based Trustchain and Proof-of-Trust consensus, COTI evolved into COTI V2, a privacy-focused Layer 2 on Ethereum that supports encrypted smart contracts, confidential transactions, and private voting mechanisms.
