The two mechanisms work together to increase scalability and can process over 100,000 transactions per second.&nbsp;In particular, COTI’s “MultiDAG” system allows for more than one DAG to operate and thus serve specific purposes, which could include stablecoins, company-specific tokens, amongst other use cases.In this manner, the Proof-of-Trust (PoT) consensus algorithm is used on the platform. It is a combination of the Trustchain Algorithm and Proof-of-Work. PoT does not use a mining process, instead, it relies on a “Trust Score” assigned to network participants. The use of DAG allows more scalability with lower fees, higher levels of security and minimal network congestion.<h3>What is noteworthy about COTI?</h3>A notable feature of COTI, is COTI Pay.
