Varen is to be an Ethereum based multi-chain DeFi hub, with a focus on bringing multi-chain services to retail DeFi users, powered by our DEX.

Varen can also be staked in the soon-to-be-deployed, new governance vault with staking rewards from a volume on Varen DEX. These staking rewards are accrued in Varen DEX LP tokens that are periodically sold for VRN and distributed to stakers, creating buy pressure for VRN. Additional rewards will be distributed to the vault after launch.

Inspired by our friends over at yAxis, we are also using the innovative and gas-efficient ERC-677 token standard for $VRN. The ERC-677 standard is fully ERC-20 compatible with the added benefit of the transfer and call function, making 1-click approving and staking, and other features possible.
