Core technical characteristics include 0.6-second transaction finality, average fees of $0.0005, and a sharded architecture with dynamic scaling. The blockchain supports smart contracts written in Tolk, a statically typed language for the TON Virtual Machine, alongside toolkits for building Mini Apps and bots for Telegram's ecosystem of over 1 billion users.
