STRATO is a DeFi platform built on its own EVM-compatible blockchain, centered on tokenized precious metals. Physical gold and silver are stored in a New York vault operated by BA Gold Enterprises, subject to monthly third-party audits, and issued on-chain at a 1:1 ratio to the underlying metal. Users can deposit these metal tokens alongside BTC, ETH, and stablecoins as collateral to borrow USDST, the platform's native stablecoin minted through a CDP mechanism at up to 80% LTV. The platform also includes an AMM-based DEX for token swaps and liquidity provision. Yield is generated by an autonomous arbitrage bot that continuously trades price discrepancies across gold, silver, ETH, BTC, and stablecoin pools.

STRATO was built by BlockApps, the team behind one of Ethereum's original mainnet-compatible clients developed in 2014.
