Somnium Space is an open-source VR platform, which allows users to buy digital land, homes, buildings, and myriad in-game assets. Somnium Space is available for all the major virtual reality PC VR headsets from Oculus, HTC VIVE, HP, VALVE, all Windows Mixed Reality headsets, and other compatible major headsets. We are a VR world first and want all of our users to get the best Social VR experience that is available. Somnium native Builder has the most features on the Desktop where with our native assets you can build almost anything already now. Somnium WebXR platform SomniumWEB allows anyone to access each land parcel from any device with a web browser even in VR mode.

Somnium Space has developed UnitySDK to allow more advanced users to upload full-body Avatars and complete scenes onto your land parcels inside Somnium Space. Our advanced SDK allows players to work with complete scenes, scripting, and animations to fully enhance their experience. Finger tracking is also supported inside Somnium Space for further immersion. Full-body tracking, lip & eye tracking are available inside our VR world. Features such as smell features from hardware such as multisensory masks or fans are also planned to be supported soon.
