What is Puffpaw?

Puffpaw is an project on Berachain aiming to bring vaping activities on-chain to incentivize quitting smoking. It addresses two main issues in the vape industry: unmonitored nicotine use and high prices due to distributor markups. Puffpaw is developing a unique vape device that tracks smoking habits and transforms the experience into a gamified platform. This integration of Real-World Assets (RWA) with on-chain gaming presents challenges but offers significant potential for impact.

Similar to the "move-to-earn" mechanism of StepN, Puffpaw's model collects and records various data points such as daily puff count, nicotine percentage, and social interactions via embedded NFC. This data collection enables a DePIN+GameFi+SocialFi model where users not only earn basic token rewards but also gain from node premiums, gaming rewards, and consumer brand premiums. Users start by investing in a node license, receiving a smart vape and initial tokens, and then optimize their vaping and mining strategies. Additionally, non-vaping users can gift the device to others, spreading engagement and enhancing financial returns.
