Gnosis Chain is a community-owned, Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based sidechain. Governance on Gnosis Chain is managed through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) mechanism, allowing anyone to participate in decision-making processes. Developing decentralized applications (dApps) and integrating with Gnosis Chain products follows a similar process to other EVM-based blockchains. Transaction fees on Gnosis Chain are paid in the xDai stablecoin, which helps reduce volatility risks and simplifies the development experience.
