What is Evmos (EVMOS)?

Evmos is a scalable Proof-of-Stake blockchain that is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and built on the Cosmos SDK. It utilizes CometBFT (a Tendermint Core fork) for fast finality, high throughput, and short block times. Evmos enables both Cosmos and EVM transactions, allowing developers to scale Ethereum dApps across chains using IBC. It provides robust integration with Ethereum tools and supports a range of modules from the Cosmos SDK.
