What is Yuzu Money?

Yuzu Money is a DeFi protocol that issues yzUSD, an overcollateralized USD-pegged stablecoin backed by curated on-chain yield strategies, such as leveraged loops and other high-return positions. It deploys deposited stablecoins into these strategies to generate returns, while applying risk mitigation measures including smart contract insurance, risk tranching, automated hack responses, and overcollateralization exceeding 100%. Users mint yzUSD by depositing collateral, then stake it to receive syzUSD, a yield-bearing token that accrues protocol returns proportionally. The system provides a live dashboard for monitoring exposures, insurance coverage, and risk metrics, with all backing assets verifiable on-chain.
