<p>USDD is an algorithmic stablecoin issued by the TRON DAO Reserve. It was launched in May 2022 on the Tron Network. USDD is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar and uses a selection of cryptocurrencies to guarantee over-collateralization. It was created with the aim of addressing the common concerns of price volatility within the crypto market.&nbsp;</p><p>The founders of the currency claim that USDD has "perpetual existence and zero dependence on any centralized entity" and hope that the coin will become the most decentralized currency to exist.</p><h3>What are USDD’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>Some of the key features of USDD include its price stability, and the way it achieves price stability. USDD’s value is stabilized using algorithms and Super Representatives. In essence, Super Representatives work by providing price oracle for USDD. This is done by a decentralized network of block validators voting on what they think the current exchange rate of USDD should be. They are incentivized to act honestly because they have a large stake of TRX and have a vest interest to provide accurate pricing. Furthermore, validators receive a minimum of .5% of transaction fees of any TRX/USDD swaps, as well as a fixed fee rate for any swap with USDD.</p><p>Additionally, TRX is used in part as a safety buffer for USDD. It is used as the base currency that prices USDD, via the Super Representatives in order to prevent price fluctuations. TRX absorbs the price volatility.&nbsp;</p><h3>What can USDD be used for?</h3><p>USDD can be used in the same manner as many other stablecoins. What Is Fear & Greed Index?

We are assessing Bitcoin's volatility and maximum drawdowns, comparing these metrics with the average values from the past 30 and 90 days. We suggest that an abnormal increase in volatility signals a market driven by fear.

We evaluate current trading volumes and market momentum against 30/90 day averages, then combine these indicators. Typically, high daily buying volumes in a positive market lead us to conclude that the market is excessively greedy or overly bullish.
