It backed by combination of fiat USD cash and established stablecoins such as USDC, USDT, and USD1, held in segregated custody accounts with monthly attestations for reserves and supply transparency. Institutions mint U after KYB verification by depositing fiat or approved stablecoins, while redemptions provide access to underlying assets.
