sUSDS (Savings USDS) is a yield-generating token issued by Spark Protocol. It represents a staked position in USDS, a decentralized USD-pegged stablecoin from the Sky Protocol.
By depositing USDS into Spark's ERC-4626 compliant vault, users automatically earn yield from the Sky Savings Rate (SSR). This process is non-custodial and permissionless. The SSR yield is sustainably funded by Sky Protocol's diversified revenue streams, which include fees from crypto-backed loans, returns from U.S. Treasury Bill investments, and income from liquidity provisioning on SparkLend and the Spark Liquidity Layer.
