Savings DaisDAI Price

sDAI (Savings DAI) is a yield-bearing token issued by MakerDAO and Spark Protocol, representing a staked version of DAI. DAI is a decentralized stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. By depositing DAI into a specialized ERC-4626 vault, users can automatically earn yield from the Dai Savings Rate (DSR), which is a core feature of the Maker Protocol. This process is non-custodial and permissionless. The yield paid by the DSR is funded by the combined revenues of the Maker and Spark ecosystems, which include fees from crypto-backed loans, returns from investments in U.S. Treasury Bills, and income from liquidity provisioning on SparkLend and the Spark Liquidity Layer.
