What is Rover?

Rover is a decentralized liquid staking protocol for Bitcoin, built on Botanix. It allows users to stake their BTC and receive rovBTC, a liquid staking token that remains tradable and usable across DeFi applications. While users hold rovBTC, their original BTC is delegated to validators, generating staking rewards.

The protocol aims to enhance the utility of Bitcoin by integrating it into a staking and governance ecosystem without sacrificing liquidity. Rover operates in a trust-minimized environment, governed by the community, and plans to offer full transparency.
