The rebase rewards come from the proceeds from bond sales, minting ROME against the protocol's risk-free value (RFV). The reward rate is closely controlled by policy to balance the growth of the protocol with long-term health.<h3>What is Bonding?</h3>Bonding is the primary driver of treasury growth for RomeDAO. It allows ROME to acquire its own liquidity and offer a variety of reserve assets for bonders to receive discounted tokens. Romans provide tokens and liquidity positions for the protocol to own and control.&nbsp;RomeDAO is governed by houses and their representatives.
