Reserve Protocol is a decentralized platform for creating and managing Decentralized Token Folios (DTFs) — permissionless, asset-backed token baskets that allow users to hold a diversified portfolio as a single on-chain token. The protocol supports two types of DTFs: Index DTFs, which bundle multiple crypto assets into a single tradeable unit, and Yield DTFs, which generate returns by allocating collateral across LSTs, stablecoins, and RWA tokens. RSR (Reserve Rights) is the governance and utility token of the protocol — RSR stakers act as a backstop by providing overcollateralization and earn a share of protocol fees in return. The protocol is permissionless, meaning anyone can deploy their own DTF without approval from the core team.
