What is oooo?

oooo is a modular cross-chain protocol designed to enhance the Bitcoin ecosystem by enabling seamless asset circulation between Bitcoin and other public blockchains. It supports nearly all asset types, including native assets like stablecoins and wrapped assets such as BRC-20 Bitcoin scripts. The protocol leverages a decentralized architecture to ensure security and efficiency in cross-chain transactions.

Key components of oooo's architecture include the Modular Verifier Network, which validates transactions and ensures system reliability, and the Decentralized Omni-Bus, which facilitates secure communication across different chains. Light Clients and Event Listeners monitor the Bitcoin mainnet for relevant events, while Endpoints on Layer 2 chains handle message delivery, ensuring transaction integrity and confidentiality.

Liquidity is managed through the oooo Maker System and liquidity pools. Market makers with assets on multiple chains support cross-chain transactions and earn fees, while ordinary users can provide liquidity to pools without needing to deposit assets in pairs, receiving a portion of transaction fees in return.
