What is Nirvana?

Nirvana is building financial infrastructure for AI agents in decentralized finance (DeFi). It focused on creating systems where autonomous AI can effectively operate in decentralized markets.

Our approach, which it call Agentic DeFi (DEFAI), has two main components:
1. AI Framework
Nirvana develop tools that help AI agents analyze markets, execute strategies, and work together across different blockchain networks to use capital more efficiently.

2. On-Chain Protocols
We create blockchain protocols designed specifically for AI agents to operate autonomously. These protocols help agents collaborate and improve efficiency in activities like on-chain market-making.

Nirvana, was a lending and staking platform based on the Polkadot blockchain, raised $5 million at a $500 million valuation, twice the valuation of its token round in November 2022. Investors in the strategic funding round included crypto exchange Coinbase Ventures, blockchain technology company StarkWare, and Section 32, a venture capital firm founded by Bill Maris, a former head of Google Ventures. Investors in the seed funding round included Polychain Capital, Pantera Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, hypersphere venture.
