<p>Hermes One is a community-maintained desktop wrapper for Hermes Agent — an open-source AI agent framework developed by Nous Research. The core differentiator is a closed learning loop: after completing complex tasks, the agent autonomously generates and refines "skills" (reusable action templates), builds a persistent user model across sessions using Honcho dialectic modeling, and stores searchable session history via FTS5 with LLM summarization. The agent supports 14 toolsets including web search, browser automation, code execution, vision, and delegation to parallel subagents. It runs across seven execution backends (local, Docker, SSH, Modal, Vercel Sandbox, and others) and connects to any major model provider without lock-in.</p>
