What is Gold DAO?

Gold DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization engaged in the tokenization of physical gold on the Internet Computer (ICP) blockchain, created on the initiative of DAOLink. It provides access to the stability of gold and enables transportation and liquidity through the blockchain.

With full ownership and control of the GLDT Swap application, including the gold asset registry, the DAO manages all aspects of issuance, operations, and updates through its Service Nervous System (SNS), allowing token holders to vote on proposals for fund usage, partnerships, and protocol improvements. It is backed by audited GLD NFTs representing physical gold bars stored in Swiss Loomis vaults and verified by KPMG.
