Falcon USD is a synthetic dollar designed to maintain a stable 1:1 peg with the US dollar through an overcollateralization model. Users mint USDf by depositing collateral, which can be stable or non-stable crypto assets; the minting process adjusts depending on the volatility of the collateral to ensure sufficient backing.

USDf employs two minting mechanisms:

• Classic Mint: Users deposit assets and receive USDf either at a 1:1 ratio (for stable assets) or via an overcollateralized process (for volatile assets).

• Innovative Mint: Designed for experienced users, this method uses fixed-term deposits and predefined price parameters with liquidation thresholds to protect the protocol.
