Radix is a blockchain-based public ledger that combines four different technologies to solve the common issues facing blockchains. It aims to provide fast, and low-cost transactions, be secure, be scalable, and have incentives for network participants.&nbsp;</p><p>The technologies it deploys to achieve this are:</p><ul><li>Cerberus, this is a sharded consensus protocol that delivers high levels of scalability;</li><li>Radix Engine v2, this is the application layer of Radix and where developers can build and develop their applications;</li><li>Component Catalog provides off-the-shelf pre-made common components needed to build dApps.
