Dvision Network is a metaverse based on blockchain technology founded in late 2019. The vision behind the project is to address the issues facing the gaming industry and decentralized gaming economies. Artwork can also be minted as NFTs, therefore users have the opportunity to conduct metaverse-base exhibitions, or open up an entire gallery directly on the platform.

Since NFTs form a key part of Dvision Network it is worth exploring their functionality further. There are four main use-cases on the platform; LAND, Avatar, Item, and PET.

LAND NFTs are virtual pieces of real estate. They can be obtained directly in the Dvision Metaverse and can be customized. Avatars are owned by and represent users of the platform themselves. In turn, Items are NFTs that are created by users. They can be deployed inside the meta-space. Lastly, PET NFTs form an essential part of the platform’s Play-to-Earn functionality. They can be purchased and upgraded and are made to be used in the P2E Dvision Metaverse.

When users create an AVATAR and enter the Dvision Metaverse, they are spawned in the platform’s main lobby, the Dvision World. From there, all Meta-Cities are connected, up to 20 will be created each with there own features, attributes and Meta-Spaces. Pieces of LAND make up the Meta-Spaces.

The platform has a selection of Play-to-Earn modes that enable users to earn rewards through participation on the platform.

What can DVI be used for?

As Dvision Network’s native token, DVI has a variety of use-cases on the platform. Firstly, DVI is needed in order to interact with the Meta-Spaces within a Meta-City. They are also used as the currency of choice between content creators and business owners running on the platform. For example, businesses wishing to advertise campaigns on pieces of LAND should pay the LAND owner with DVI. 

Pieces of LAND can be purchased and customized by buying items from the NFT Marketplace with DVI tokens. AVATARs can also be customized through buying attributes and clothes from the marketplace. 

DVI is used to purchase PET, which is essential for taking part in the platform’s Play-to-Earn mode.
