StandX DUSD DUSD Price

DUSD is a yield-bearing stablecoin within the StandX ecosystem. Users mint DUSD by depositing USDT, and the protocol generates yield from two primary sources: staking of spot assets and funding fees from short futures positions. The yield is distributed automatically to DUSD holders’ wallets without requiring staking or any additional action. The protocol emphasizes a “real yield” model, distinguishing it from mechanisms that distribute returns through new token issuance.

The stablecoin is fully collateralized by market-neutral assets with hedged risks and no leverage. Assets are held through a custodian solution to avoid exchange counterparty risk, and a reserve fund is maintained to hedge against potential losses in the backing assets. The design aims to allow users to hold a stablecoin that accrues yield while remaining usable across DeFi applications, combining the liquidity and utility of a stablecoin with passive yield generation.
