<p>Daylight is developing a decentralized protocol that enables users to connect their energy devices, such as thermostats, batteries, electric vehicles, and solar inverters, to its app and earn rewards. Additionally, users can join the Daylight marketplace to access energy upgrades for their homes or buildings, including solar panels, electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps, and hot water heaters.</p>

<p data-start="0" data-end="650">On October 16, 2025, Daylight Energy, a decentralized energy company that rewards and finances distributed power, announced it had raised $75 million in financing to scale its crypto-powered distributed energy network. The raise included $15 million in equity financing led by Framework Ventures, with participation from a16z crypto, Lerer Hippeau, M13, Room40 Ventures, EV3, Crucible Capital, Coinbase Ventures, and Not Boring Capital. In addition, Turtle Hill Capital led a $60 million project development facility to support nationwide deployment of distributed energy systems.</p>
