Dark Machine is an Asynchronous Big Team Third-person Shooter game with a blend of Transformers and Stranger Things as an arena-shooter style built with the industry game engine Unreal Engine 5.

The game design is built around 3 core concepts.

• Get Gigantic. Mechs are at the core of Dark Machine. By introducing a Russian Matryoshka doll mechanism that has smaller mechs incrementally increasing in size by donning a larger mech, a shift to asynchronous gameplay takes place as the destructive force of mechs grows exponentially.

• Destroy Everything. As mech destructive forces expand, the map walls, buildings, etc. can be destroyed by players. Creative use of destruction mechanics will set the tone for strategic superiority against opposing teams.

• Seize the Dark. The Dark is the setting for the battle arenas and will make full use of Unreal Engine's sophisticated realtime lighting engine Lumen as well as the super graphical definition of Nanite.
