This incentivizes users to actively engage with the platform -Economic incentive: The token plays a central role in the ecosystem, encouraging long-term user participation, including traders, liquidity providers and validators. DYDX is thus a multi-functional token that provides decentralized governance, network security, economic incentives and cost savings for dYdX users.
