What is Compute Labs?
Compute Labs is an AI infrastructure investment platform that tokenizes physical GPUs into digital assets to make compute an investable asset class. Incubated by the NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance, it enables investors to gain exposure to AI compute through yield-bearing tokenized GPUs via the Compute Tokenization Protocol or CTP, which transform enterprise hardware like NVIDIA H200s into verifiable on-chain assets such as GNFTs (GPU NFTs) and fractional miniGPU tokens. These provide liquidity, transparent ownership, and income from real AI workloads.
The project bridges traditional finance and blockchain by offering structured products like GPU-backed ETFs, market indexes, perpetuals, staking, lending, and restaking opportunities. It targets institutional investors for high-yield access to AI infrastructure, cloud/HPC providers and AI companies for GPU financing (turning CapEx into OpEx via revenue-share leasing), compute owners, and individual participants.
Mechanics include blockchain-based tokenization for fractional ownership and verifiability, with Compute Labs managing deployment, operations, compliance, and principal protections.
