Dogelon Mars (ELON) is a a meme token running on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains, named as a tribute to both Dogecoin, the original cryptocurrency memecoin, and Elon Musk’s vision of colonizing Mars.
At its inception, the founders of Dogelon Mars locked 50% of all ELON liquidity in a Uniswap liquidity pool. The remaining half was donated to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who subsequently distributed the donated ELON to various DAOs and foundations. Current token holders either acquired the asset through a cryptocurrency exchange or received it as a donation from Vitalik Buterin. The coin has a maximum supply of 1 quadrillion tokens.
