What is Artemis?

Artemis Finance is a multi-network liquid staking protocol that enables users to stake METIS on the Metis Decentralized Sequencer Pools (with locking on Ethereum) to receive the yield-bearing artMETIS token, or stake BTC, DOGEB, and BTCB on GoatNetwork for corresponding liquid tokens, simplifying participation in sequencer activities while maintaining liquidity and automatic reward accrual. Its single LST structure concentrates liquidity to reduce complexity and costs, allowing artMETIS and other wrappers to be composable in DeFi applications like trading, lending, borrowing, and yield farming without forfeiting staking rewards from sequencing tasks.

Governed by the community via the native ART token for voting on protocol decisions, Artemis leverages Metis Foundation and GoatNetwork node operators for reliable infrastructure, with plans to launch its own sequencer for enhanced control.
