ArGo is an easy to use decentralized web app deployment and hosting platform that is built on blockchain technology known as the Arweave Permaweb. Arweave Permaweb is a decentralized cloud platform that supports developers with multiple tools and aligns with the internet’s vision of true permanence and censorship resistance.

Users who deploy apps or websites on ArGo are charged just once, and don’t incur recurring server hosting, security, and database costs. ArGo’s use of miner hosting space also allows users to store their business or ideas on the internet permanently.

How It Works

ArGo is built on Arweave Protocol, which keeps a sustainable and permanent ledger of all knowledge and history on it. All content stored on Arweave is immutable and tamper proof. Arweave is immutable because it timestamps everything, and is accurate down to the minute thanks to ArGo’s newly iterated blockweave data structure. The inclusion of transaction data inside block hashes and recall blocks ensures data remains unalterable during storage or retrieval, and is available within the network at any time.

1. Web3 Web Deployment ArGo provides web deployment tools and other features to monitor, audit, and collaborate with other team members all in one place.
2. Web3 Assets Storage ArGo can store, retrieve any assets and also will provide feasibility to developers and admins to monitor the versions of those assets.
3. DeFi And DEX Services ArGo can store and retrieve large hybrid datasets for these services: like payout schedules and token bonding curves: most of these data aren’t frequently accessed but must be stored for a very long time or even forever.
4. Blockchain-based Game ArGo can help game developers with the cheap and reliable storage for tons of data concerning the players’ activities, which must be archived and stored for a very long time for different purposes (to make the game process, payments, and rewards most transparent and auditable). 

Types of Nodes

Deployment happening in ArGo is done using a dedicated Arweave wallet which will be refilled periodically. The wallet will be prefilled with AR (Arweave Token) to serve our deployment fees required to store applications on Arweave. Our billing will be off-chain-based and need users to recharge it periodically based on their usage. The billing system will be able to accept both crypto and fiat. And the billing will be based on the usages of our platform and the defined pricing stored in our smart contract for better transparency. Pricing can only be changed by DAO members and updated through proposals. 

• 1. Hosting API Node This Node handles all the user interaction on the app and persists everything on the DB. This node also takes requests for deployment and passes that to the Deployer Node. This Node also interacts with Logs Persistent Node and shares deployment info. This also records the built time and calculates the pricing as per the rate in our Smart Contract. 
• 2. Deployer Node This node handles the app build and deployments. It interacts with Arweave Protocol and deploys the built app in Arweave. It also emits logs to Redis channels or Event streaming platforms which Logs Persistent Node and User is listening to.
• 3. Logs Persistent Node This node's only function is to listen to the Redis event stream and write it in the file and save the whole file in Sd or any other storage platform and record the unique identifier in the DB against the deployment.
• 4. Logs Archival Node This node also only takes care of archiving any new file added to S3 to Arweave to make it permanently accessible for users, listen for mining confirmation, and then update the unique identifier in the DB. This also reduces the recurring cost of S3 and effective transitions to one-time payment using Arweave.
