What is Alt.town (TOWN)?

Alt.town is a Web3-based Virtual Celebrity Value Growth Platform that enables users to trade the value of virtual creators—such as VTubers, virtual influencers, and virtual idols—as digital assets called DNA, which symbolize their popularity and potential. When a virtual celebrity joins Alt.town, they issue this DNA, which can be bought, sold, and speculated on through an on-chain order-book trading system; pricing emerges organically through supply and demand among users. The platform differentiates itself by empowering fans to support and invest in creators’ growth, while also incentivizing creators with revenue: 70% from pre-sales and 10% from transaction fees are allocated to the creators themselves.

Alt.town also introduces a multi-token ecosystem that includes Mile, earned via participation in platform activities; KEY, used for internal transactions; and the governance token $TOWN, which supports staking, governance, and external exchanges. Developed by Web3 culture company BitBlue, the platform aims to reshape fan-celebrity relationships by enabling fans to influence creator activities and even produce derivative works using the creator’s IP.
