Key splitting is implemented via MPC across GCP, AWS, and Azure HSMs using Shamir's Secret Sharing, meaning no single provider can reconstruct a key independently.

The platform consists of three main components: Vault (secret storage with scoped policies, short-lived JWTs, and full audit trail), Shroud (a TEE-based LLM proxy that inspects bi-directional traffic between agents and model providers, redacting secrets and blocking prompt injection in real time), and Intents API (a transaction signing proxy for on-chain operations across 109+ EVM chains, where private keys never leave the HSM). Payments for API usage can be settled on-chain via USDC on Base using the x402 protocol.
