<p>BiLira is a blockchain-based project that issues stablecoins pegged to the Turkish Lira. It hopes to be able to “prepare the Turkish people and Turkey for the coming financial revolution” by offering an easy way to connect to the decentralized world. It also aims to capitalize on the relatively high percentage of Turkish crypto users compared with other countries.</p><p>In particular, BiLira hopes to create a price-stable token that is resistant to the common fluctuations and volatility of the crypto market. It also seeks to create a platform where members can securely mint BiLira (TRYB) tokens, backed 1:1 to the Turkish Lira.</p><p>The BiLira (TRYB) token is collateralized 1:1 with the Turkish Lira. It is an ERC-20 token.</p><h3>What are BiLira’s key features and how does it work?</h3><p>BiLira features a range of products to support its ecosystem. They are offered via the BiLira Platform. Users can buy, sell, and trade TRYB directly via the platform. The platform provides live price data for TRYB and the Turkish Lira allowing users to track against many different cryptocurrencies.</p><p>The BiLira Platform also allows users to connect their wallets to the platform and perform swaps via DEXs. This allows users to access the best rates using non-custodial wallets. The platform also allows users to interact with decentralized finance protocols with ease.</p><h3>What is noteworthy about BiLira?</h3><p>The BiLira token has several inbuilt security features to ensure the stablecoin remains sage. This includes a pause function for the entire contract. It can be paused in the case of serious bugs, or if there is any other major issue that may compromise the security. Transfers, minting, and burning, are stopped when the contract is paused.</p><p>BiLira can also blacklist an address from sending and receiving TRYB tokens in the case of malicious or other negative actions.</p><p>Additionally, thanks to the use of the OpenZeppelin Unstructured-Storage Proxy pattern, BiLira can implement seamless upgrades without compromising usability.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><h3>What can TRYB be used for?</h3><p>TRYB can be used in much the same way as other cryptocurrencies. This includes as a payment method on supported decentralized applications and exchanges.
