Scheduled for Q1 of 2025, the Ethereum Pectra upgrade represents a critical milestone in the project’s development roadmap. It is a fusion of two key components—the Electra upgrade for the consensus layer, and the Prague update for the execution layer. The upgrade is meant to improve Ethereum’s security, scalability, and overall performance. We discuss important details about the Pectra upgrade and some insight into the future in this article.
