What is Zeru?

Zeru Finance is a DeFi platform that offers a unique lending model called Zero-Collateral Loans (ZCLs). Unlike traditional DeFi lending protocols that require substantial collateral, Zeru allows users to borrow without any collateral based on their on-chain reputation and creditworthiness, represented by a SoulBound Token called ZScore. The ZScore functions similarly to a traditional credit score but is fully transparent and tied to the user’s blockchain activity.

Zeru's ecosystem integrates popular DeFi strategies, enabling users to engage in activities like leveraged trading, liquidity provision, and restaking directly within the platform. The protocol also includes a Protocol Controlled Value Reserve (PCVR) that acts as an insurance fund, helping to mitigate the risk of loan defaults. Users earn Credit Tokens (CTs) through participation in the ecosystem, which contribute to their ability to access ZCLs.
