yzUSD is a overcollateralized asset referenced stablecoin issued by Yuzu Money, a DeFi protocol that packages high-yield strategies.

Key characteristics:

  • Synthetic Dollar Intent: yzUSD targets stability at $1; in base form, it does not itself bear yield.

  • Staking Pathway: Holders may stake yzUSD to receive syzUSD, a liquid, yield accruing ERC-4626 vault token that enables further DeFi composability.

  • On-Chain Proof: Collateral is always on-chain; a Proof of Reserves dashboard allows users to verify that every yzUSD is backed by > US$1 in eligible on chain assets.

  • Mint/Redeem (Gated): Subject to eligibility and KYC/AML/KYB/SoF/SoW screening, only Eligible Investors (defined below) may mint or redeem yzUSD for USDC at 1:1, honoring program rules and risk limits.
