What is Venn Network?
Venn Network is a decentralized cybersecurity infrastructure designed to protect blockchain applications and protocols from malicious transactions and economic risks. It achieves this through a combination of off-chain computation and on-chain execution capabilities.
Key Components and Features:
Decentralized Security Network: A network of node operators validates transactions before they are committed to the blockchain. These operators use algorithms to examine each transaction and come to a consensus on its legitimacy.
On-chain Firewall: This open-source framework allows developers to implement on-chain blocking mechanisms within their Web3 applications. The firewall receives the network's consensus on the legitimacy of transactions and can block accordingly.
Root Network: The foundational layer of the Venn ecosystem ensures security validation, consensus, and incentivization for all participants. Chains, protocols, developers, and operators can join the Venn Root Network directly.
Subnets: Venn utilizes subnets, which are customized and dedicated security layers operating on top of the main Venn root network. Subnets allow for tailored security frameworks, threat detection models, and validation rules. Participants can establish customized subnetworks to design and enforce security standards aligned with specific operational goals and custom fee structures.
