​uniBTC is a liquid restaking token within the Bedrock protocol that represents staked Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) on the Ethereum blockchain. By staking wBTC through Bedrock, users receive uniBTC at a 1:1 ratio, allowing them to earn staking rewards without relinquishing their wBTC holdings. These rewards may include future accruals from Babylon's staking protocol and Bedrock Diamonds. ​

The Bedrock protocol enables wBTC holders to participate in restaking, offering additional yield opportunities while maintaining the security of the Ethereum network. Staking wBTC for uniBTC involves connecting a compatible wallet to the Bedrock platform, approving the necessary transaction, and receiving uniBTC tokens, which can be traded or used within the DeFi ecosystem. ​

Unstaking uniBTC requires an 8-day processing period, after which the original wBTC can be reclaimed. Additionally, Bedrock offers cross-chain functionalities, enabling users to bridge uniBTC across supported networks.
