Tarot is a decentralized lending protocol on Fantom Opera where users can participate as lenders or borrowers in isolated lending pools. Lenders can supply tokens to any lending pool in the Tarot Protocol to earn passive yield without impermanent loss. Borrowers can deposit LP tokens in a lending pool to borrow additional tokens in the token pair. This enables borrowers to leverage their LP tokens for even more LP tokens, allowing for leveraged yield farming and enhanced LP rewards.

Tarot is implemented as a set of smart contracts on Fantom Opera. These smart contracts enable non-custodial, permissionless markets for decentralized lending and leveraged yield farming. Inspired by such groundbreaking projects as Aave, Compound, Impermax, and Uniswap, Tarot enables an entirely new DeFi experience.

TAROT is the limited supply governance token for the Tarot Protocol. TAROT token holders are able to participate in governance and shape the future of Tarot, as well as determine key parameters for the interest rate model, fee rates, and the distribution of protocol fees and reserves accrued to the Tarot Protocol. TAROT has no expressed or implied value beyond its utility as a protocol governance token.
