What is Soup Finance?

Soup Finance is a decentralized cross-chain money market for the metaverse economy. Soup Finance is building a unified functional credit market that enables everyone to leverage their fungible and non-fungible assets as an asset class in a completely permissionless and trustless manner. At the heart of Soup Finance is the super-fast, incredibly secure, holistic cross-chain ecosystem for multiple blockchains, lightning fast transactions and low transaction fees on the Fusion Blockchain. Soup Finance is building a unified lending protocol, which enables everyone to supply fungible tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as collateral, and lend NFTs risk-free.

SOUP is a functional multi-utility token. Its holders therefore have the following and potential benefits:

• 50% of the revenue generated through borrowing is distributed directly to users who stake $SOUP. 
• 50% of the revenue generated through NFT lending marketplace is distributed directly to users who stake $SOUP.
• 2.5% of proceeds from liquidation events go to $SOUP buyback & burn.
• 50% of revenue from "Featured NFTs" listing fees in the lending marketplace go to $SOUP buyback & burn.
• 2% of 5% royalty fees on Soup Finance NFTs that will be sold in the secondary market go to $SOUP buyback & burn.
• Protocol rewards are time-locked for 3 months with an additional APR, but may be claimed immediately for a 50% penalty. 20% of proceeds from the penalty are burned.

As the native platform currency, $SOUP may be used for:

• To pay for renting fees in NFT Lending Marketplace.
• To pay for "Featured NFTs" listing fees for more prominence and visibility on NFT Lending Marketplace.
• To pay for cross-chain gas fees.
• In the NFT auction upon liquidation events, $SOUP can be used as the deposit for purchase transactions.
• $SOUP will act as a governance token for Soup Crush Dynasty - A mobile addictive play-to-earn game featuring characters, collectibles, upgrade, decay, boosters, maps etc.
• Lend and borrow $SOUP.
• Time-weighted single-sided $SOUP staking.
• Time-weighted SOUP/FSN, SOUP/CHNG LP Token staking.
• Vote to change protocol structure and Treasury fund usability.
