Its core mechanism involves continuously lending underlying stablecoin assets (such as DAI, USDC, USDT) to vetted and secure lending markets (e.g., Frax Lend, Morpho, Moonwell, Curve Lend) to generate interest. This interest is converted into additional reUSD tokens, which are then distributed to holders via the protocol's sreUSD (Savings reUSD) token.

The process is designed to be automated and capital-efficient, allowing the reUSD supply to grow organically from generated yield rather than new user deposits.
