Reservoir Protocol is a decentralized, permissionless DeFi infrastructure built on Ethereum, offering an yield-bearing stablecoin ecosystem designed to securely scale into real-word asset integration.

At its core are three primary stablecoins: rUSD (redeemable stablecoin tied to underlying collateral), srUSD (a variable-rate yield-bearing instrument), and trUSD (term-based stablecoin offering fixed yields via defined maturity periods). These coins are underpinned by diversified asset adapters — ranging from DeFi tokens and liquidity pool positions to real-world instruments like US Treasury Bills — allowing for capital deployment into both blockchain-native and external yield sources.

The protocol maintains financial stability through modular risk controls — such as liquidity, asset, and equity ratios — all pegged to 105% thresholds; falling below triggers automatic safeguard actions via a "credit enforcer". Users can swap rUSD for srUSD to earn floating interest, or for trUSD to obtain fixed-term yields, while equity reserves — initially funded via strategic governance token distributions — provide a solvency buffer. Value transparency and protocol integrity are supported by a Peg Stability Module (PSM) enabling seamless, costless redemption of rUSD into USDC, and governance-managed collateral allocations across approved yield channels. Smart contracts are openly auditable, accessible, and structured for solvency; contract addresses, asset integrations, and OFT adapters are publicly listed for on-chain verification.
